Harage may collect the following information from users of our platform: first name, last name, street address, area and city, phone and contact numbers, email address, and GPS location (mobile app users) (collectively referred to as “Personally Identifiable Information” or “PII”).

In addition, Harage may collect information regarding Harage account holders’ past buy and sell orders, customer service inquiries, reviews, and social networking preferences (e.g., pages you “Like” or “Recommend”).

Harage also uses web analytics software to track and analyze traffic on the platform in connection with advertising and the promotion of Harage services. Harage may publish these statistics or share them with third parties without including PII.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information (Non-PII) refers to aggregated data, demographic information, and any other details that do not directly reveal your identity. Harage and third-party service providers may collect Non-PII, including your MAC address, computer type, screen resolution, OS version, Internet browser, and demographic data (such as location, gender, and date of birth).

We and our third-party service providers may also use cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, and other similar tracking technologies to enhance user experience and personalize content. IP Addresses are the Internet Protocol addresses of the devices used to access Harage. Your IP Address is automatically assigned by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and is recorded in our server logs, along with the time of visit and pages viewed.

Collecting IP addresses is a standard practice across websites and helps with security, analytics, and platform improvements.

Harage uses Personally Identifiable Information (PII) to create user accounts, facilitate buy and sell transactions, communicate with users about Harage services, and provide promotions, special offers, and updates. Users may opt out of receiving promotional communications by contacting Harage support or adjusting their notification settings in the Harage app. Harage may also use PII to enforce its Terms of Use and Service.

Harage uses cookies to remember users and enhance their experience on the platform. For example, returning users may have their login credentials, language preferences, and location settings automatically recognized. Harage does not sell user data to third parties but may share PII with trusted third-party vendors and service providers who assist with application programming interfaces (APIs) and other technical functions necessary for platform operations.

In addition, Harage may share user information such as order details, item descriptions, name, address, and phone number with sellers and buyers to process transactions efficiently. Harage may also disclose PII to legal entities such as law enforcement, attorneys, collection agencies, or courts in cases related to contract violations, fraud, or harm to persons or property.

Any user-generated content posted on the Harage platform, including product reviews and social networking interactions (e.g., pages you “Like” or “Recommend”), may be publicly visible. Harage cannot ensure the privacy of any PII included in such user-generated content.

Since Non-PII does not personally identify users, Harage may use and share this data for any purpose, including with affiliates and third parties. In some cases, Harage may combine Non-PII with PII (such as linking a user’s name with their geographical location). When combined, this information will be treated as PII as long as it remains associated with personal data.

Harage uses IP addresses to calculate platform usage levels, diagnose server issues, and improve platform performance. IP addresses may also be used and disclosed for the same purposes as PII, including legal compliance. However, Harage generally treats IP addresses and related server log files as Non-PII, unless required otherwise by applicable law

To register for an account on Harage, you are required to provide a valid email address and other contact details needed to reach you online or over the phone. Harage uses your email address to confirm orders, communicate with you about order issues, and provide account-related updates. A valid email address is mandatory for registration, and without it, you will not be able to create an account or place orders.

If you provide your email address, you can later access, update, modify, or correct any inaccuracies through the Harage app under the “My Account” section.

Harage may share part of your contact details (such as name, phone number, and address) with buyers or sellers as necessary to complete buy and sell transactions. This information is also used to enhance platform functionality, improve communication, and comply with legal requirements.

Your email and contact details may be disclosed to Harage staff and third parties involved in processing orders, pickups, deliveries, and customer support. However, Harage does not sell or disclose your personal contact information to third parties beyond what is specified in this Privacy Policy, unless legally required (e.g., court orders, fraud prevention, or law enforcement investigations).

During the order process, Harage requires personal information such as name, address, phone number, email address, and other identifying details to complete a buy or sell order.

For buy orders, Harage shares relevant personal information with the internal team to facilitate order processing and delivery. For sell orders, Harage may share necessary details with its internal team or pickup agents to arrange item collection.

Harage has agreements with all parties involved in transactions, restricting the disclosure or further processing of personal information. Your personal data is only used to notify you of your order status and ensure a smooth transaction.

Harage does not share personal information with business partners or affiliates without your permission. Your data is treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to external parties unless legally required by applicable laws or court orders.

Marketing emails are only sent to users who have explicitly opted in to receive promotional content.

As you browse the Harage mobile app and website, we collect navigational and click stream data, such as which pages you visited, the features you used, and how long you stayed on a particular page. This information does not identify you personally and is not linked to your identity.

Harage uses this data to enhance your experience, including improving order processing, platform functionality, and customer support. We may also use this information to comply with legal requirements and to serve personalized advertising and recommendations on the platform or through third-party services.

This information may be disclosed only to Harage staff and third parties involved in order processing, delivery services, and platform analysis to improve your overall experience.

Harage may work with advertising companies that use cookies and tracking technologies to measure the effectiveness of advertisements. These technologies may also be used to provide specialized and relevant advertising content or recommendations on the Harage platform or on third-party websites.

Any data collected by these third-party advertisers through cookies and action tags remains anonymous and does not contain personal contact information.

Harage does not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent. However, we may combine your information with data collected from other sources to enhance and personalize our services, content, and advertising.

If you do not wish to receive marketing communications from Harage via email or participate in ad-customization programs, you may update your preferences by contacting Harage support via email or logging into your Harage account and adjusting your settings under the “My Account” section.

Harage may disclose your personal information to our staff and third parties involved in processing orders, deliveries, and platform analytics.

We may also disclose information if required to protect our legal rights, in cases related to actual or potential harmful conduct, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to:

  1. Comply with legal requirements, including government or court orders.
  2. Protect and defend the rights, property, and safety of Harage, our users, or the public.

This may include sharing information with other companies or organizations for purposes such as fraud prevention and credit risk protection.

At Harage, you have the option to delete your account through the mobile application. However, if you have pending transactions or outstanding payments, you will not be able to delete your account until all transactions are completed.

To delete your account using the Harage mobile app, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Harage mobile app on your device.
  2. Navigate to the  user profile section.
  3. Select “Account Info.”
  4. Click on “Delete Your Account.”
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm and complete the deletion process.

Once your account is deleted, your personal data will also be removed. However, Harage may be required to retain some information to comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, or protect against abusive behavior. If retained, such data will only be used for legitimate legal or business purposes.

Once deleted, your account and data cannot be recovered. If you have any questions, please contact Harage customer support for assistance.

Harage may disclose Personally Identifiable Information (PII) to third-party service providers who assist with website hosting, data analysis, payment processing, order fulfillment, IT services, customer support, email communications, and other operational functions necessary to provide Harage services.

Harage may share PII to fulfill transactions, such as providing buyer and seller information to facilitate order processing and delivery.

Harage may disclose PII when users send messages regarding Harage-related content, to identify the sender to the recipient.

Harage may share PII with third-party sponsors of promotions (whether hosted by Harage or not) as per the rules of the specific promotion. Users should review the promotion terms, as they may contain additional provisions regarding PII usage. If any promotion-specific terms conflict with this Privacy Policy, the promotion terms shall prevail.

Harage may transfer PII to affiliates or third parties in case of a business reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer, or other disposition of assets or stock, including in bankruptcy or similar proceedings.

Harage may also disclose PII when necessary:

  • To comply with applicable laws, including those outside your country of residence.

  • To enforce Harage’s Terms and Conditions.

Harage ensures that any PII disclosure is limited to what is necessary to operate and protect the platform while complying with legal obligations.

When you visit the Harage mobile app or website, our server sends your device a cookie—a small packet of data that identifies you as a user of our system. Cookies help save time by remembering your contact information and preferences.

Cookies do not contain viruses and can only be read by the server that sent them. You have the option to accept or decline cookies by modifying your browser settings. However, disabling cookies may prevent you from using certain features of the Harage platform.

Protection of Your Personal Information

Harage uses secure pages to collect user information, and critical data is stored in encrypted form. We implement technical and management practices to ensure the confidentiality, security, and integrity of stored data.

Please note that sending notifications via physical mail may delay the response time.

This Privacy Policy does not cover the privacy, data collection, or practices of third-party websites or services linked to the Harage platform. Harage is not responsible for third-party privacy policies, including those of affiliates or external sites linked from the platform.

The inclusion of external links on the Harage website or app does not imply endorsement of these third parties or their privacy practices. Users are encouraged to review the privacy policies of external services before engaging with them.

Harage may update this Privacy Policy at any time by publishing a new version on the website and mobile app. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting.

Verifying, Updating, and Amending Personal Information

You can update your personal information at any time by logging into your Harage account and accessing “My Account.” In this section, you can modify your personal details and saved addresses as needed.

Users must sign up and create an account before placing an order. Guests cannot submit an order without signing in.
